My dog has been taking without a problem. European version exact same. Your vet would love to have you buy it from them, but they also want to make 40% more profit when you buy it from them.

The same product from my vet is over $185.00 for 6 doses! The ingredients are exactly the same as they are from the US distributor. Not needing a prescription is a bonus

Like every other treatment, there are side effects, however this one seems to work well for my dog and my situation. Being blind and not having to give my dog more than one pill is nice, and I have no known side effects, vet mine turned and tested. So yes it's new on the market, however it's a lot better than other products such as the skin thing that can burn your dog.
